Civil Designer
to join our dynamic and collaborative team in
Miami ! This role focuses on supporting a wide range of land development, roadway, and underground utility projects. The
Civil Designer
plays an essential role in developing detailed technical drawings and designs, calculating material quantities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using Civil 3D.
Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
Interpret relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements to guide the design process.
Implement and utilize established CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
Calculate quantities, areas, and other essential data necessary for land development civil engineering designs.
Travel periodically to perform site investigations, take measurements, and observe construction progress, followed by the preparation of detailed reports and exhibits.
Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines and ensure timely submission to agencies with jurisdiction.
Requirements
3+ years of experience using Civil 3D
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with roadway, underground utility, or land development projects
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree or Computer‑Aided Design Certificate
