Department/Group Overview The Associate Account Executive (AAE) is responsible for providing sales support to Account Executives (AE) and driving revenue growth across Disney Entertainment’s multimedia and addressable products, including ABC, Disney, ESPN, Hulu, Freeform, FX & Nat Geo, and domestic broadcast television networks. The AAE collaborates closely with local management to focus on both addressable and multimedia revenue opportunities, ensuring accountability for account ownership and effective use of sales tools such as Salesforce.

Job Summary Pre‑Sales:

Coordinate marketing and planning for RFP responses, pitch creation, and marketing solutions. Identify new opportunities and prepare qualitative information for pre‑sale planning and deck completion. After 1 year, may begin prospecting with supervisor approval.

Active Campaign:

Deliver white‑glove client service, working with marketing, ad opportunities, and research teams to ensure campaign delivery. Prepare deal memos, “Playbooks,” and lead agency status calls or emails on ratings and reporting.

Post‑Sales:

Work with AE to maximize deal renewals, collaborate on recap sites/decks, research studies, and provide success stories.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role

Build relationships with clients & agencies for AAE’s assigned categories or companies.

Translate customer needs into sellable opportunities.

Act as a resource for AE’s across all media types in Disney’s portfolio.

Analyze current linear business to recommend digital opportunities.

Leverage deal expertise to recommend optimized inventory solutions.

Deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clients.

Prepare proposals and respond to RFPs with professionalism and timeliness.

Create and deliver both pitch and wrap‑up decks for pre‑ and post‑campaigns.

Secure client assets and approve mock‑ups for upcoming campaigns.

Compile weekly and quarterly sales and client status reports.

Track all meetings, closed deals, and clients on a weekly basis.

Collaborate with DAS category vertical teams for insights to grow business.

Partner with Sales Planners for sports, broadcast, entertainment streaming, social, and digital deals.

Coordinate with other DAS teams (marketing, research, operations) for RFP requests and campaign implementation.

Prospect, identify, and qualify new clients for Disney’s portfolios as needed.

Stay current on video advertising trends and innovations.

Provide industry and competitive updates; surfacing relevant articles and topics to AE and team.

Contribute to a positive culture of inclusion and uphold DAS values.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training

4+ years of relevant experience.

Experience within Linear and/or Digital platforms.

Demonstrate proficiency in media math and analysis.

Ability to manipulate data for analysis and presentation.

Compensation The hiring range for this position in New York is $100,100 - $134,200 per year. The base pay will consider internal equity and may vary by location, experience, and other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may also be included as part of the compensation package, along with comprehensive medical, financial, and other benefits.
