Location: Temple, TX

Position Purpose Private Banking is responsible for developing, managing, and retaining full personal relationships with high income/high net worth Private Banking Clients. The Private Banking Associate is responsible for managing a smaller select portfolio of high-net-worth clients while primarily supporting Private Bankers in servicing a larger deposit portfolio. This role focuses on ensuring excellent client service, deepening relationships, and partnering with internal Wealth & Trust teams and Raymond James advisors to provide comprehensive financial solutions. The Private Banking Associate plays a key role in relationship management, servicing deposit accounts, and client advocacy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with up to three Private Bankers to structure, onboard, and service deposit and lending solutions that align with client goals.

Service deposit relationships and a portfolio of clients by planning, delivering, and regular review with clients. Deliver a high degree of personal contact and open communication among clients and internal team creates an extraordinary experience.

Accurately process customer service requests including but limited to new account opening, updating accounts and assistance with alternative delivery channels i.e. online banking, debit cards and mobile banking.

Assist Private Bankers in pricing strategies and retention efforts to exceed customer expectations.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing Private Banking clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking needs.

Identify and develop new relationships of potential Private Banking Clients both internal and external to the bank.

Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure that clients receive excellent service and that the bank’s goals are achieved.

Identify additional opportunities from existing clients and leverage all resources and other colleagues to successfully become the client’s lead or sole provider.

Coordinate commercial, consumer and other loan requests through established processes.

Develop detailed knowledge of products and services offered by Extraco Corporation including commercial loans, consumer loans, depository accounts, consulting, etc.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics.

Participate in community events to promote the bank and build relationships with potential clients.

Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.

Will work on projects with limited complexity in a support and advisory role.

Performance Measurements

Functions and banking services are effectively performed and completed in accordance with established Extraco policies, procedures and legal and regulatory requirements.

Documents and reports are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely fashion.

Good working relationships and partnerships exist with Extraco personnel, management, customers, and vendors.

Adheres to prescribed KPI goals including but not limited to new business acquisition, product, deposit, loan growth, Client satisfaction, and Client retention.

Qualifications Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred

Experience

1-3 years of banking or financial services experience required

Prior experience in client service or operations roles preferred

Experience working with high-net-worth clients a plus

Proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail

Skills/Abilities

Ability to cooperate with and assist others both externally and internally.

Ability to calculate figures such as interest, ratios, loan growth, and percentages.

Ability to operate modern office equipment and software.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The Private Banking Associate will work in an office environment but may also need to travel to meet with clients as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
