Director of Acquisitions | Talent, M&A, Special Projects For the tax professional tired of the endless grind of prospecting, this is your exit ramp. We’ve built a multi-channel marketing engine that fuels our firm with a steady stream of high-value retirement and pre-retirement clients. Your role is not to find clients; it is to serve them as a strategic tax authority within a premier, tax-integrated wealth management team.
This is a rare opportunity to inherit a built-in client base, leverage institutional-grade marketing support, and build a lucrative practice without the risk and cost of going it alone. For entrepreneurial tax experts with an existing book of business, we are prepared to acquire it.
Why This is a Career-Defining Opportunity
Zero Prospecting Burden:
Our firm invests heavily in radio, TV, digital, and live-event marketing to generate a continuous flow of qualified client referrals directly to you.
The Integrated Model Advantage:
Work alongside financial advisors as a true strategic partner, delivering unified, tax-aware retirement strategies that sophisticated clients demand.
Uncapped Earning Potential:
Your compensation is directly tied to your production and the growth of the practice you help build, amplified by firm-sponsored client acquisition.
Acquisition & Succession Path:
If you have an established tax practice, we offer a seamless acquisition path to integrate your clients and secure your legacy within our proven infrastructure.
Fully Sponsored CPA Certification:
We invest in your mastery. We will cover the full cost of CPA training and certification to elevate your credentials and expertise.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Command
the entire tax lifecycle for a dedicated block of mass affluent and high-net-worth households, from meticulous preparation to proactive, multi-year strategic planning.
Architect
sophisticated tax optimization strategies—including Roth conversions, RMD management, and Social Security taxation—in lockstep with our financial advisory team.
Serve
as the firm's strategic tax authority, translating complex tax law into clear, actionable, and high-impact guidance for retirement-focused clients.
Drive
the firm's financial integrity by managing all internal accounting and bookkeeping functions with precision and in compliance.
Build
lasting, trust-based relationships and become the indispensable tax advisor for clients navigating the most critical financial decisions of their lives.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting or an active Enrolled Agent (EA) license.
A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in tax planning and preparation.
Demonstrated mastery of professional tax software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake).
High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active candidacy.
Experience advising clients within a financial advisory or wealth management context.
An existing, portable book of tax clients.
What We Offer
