Job Description
Install and assemble the watches case components in preparation of the encasing of the movement
Check and ensure water‑resistance of the case
Transfer to the workshop in order to begin carrying out of the repair process
Uncase approved watches that enter the Customer Service department
Prepare Cases/bracelets for polishing (e.g. dismantle gaskets, pushers, etc.)
Perform Case Refinishing tasks
Interact with technical, administrative, and other staff members
Other duties as assigned
Profile We are looking for a committed and passionate Prestige Watch Technician with a serious eye for quality to join us and play a pivotal part in our customer’s experience. To allow us to achieve customer excellence, we are looking to recruit an experienced watch technician with experience in servicing a variety of luxury Swiss made watches, specifically our Prestige brands. At Swatch Group U.S., employee training, development and progression is of paramount importance to us. You may have already completed some brand specific training, however if not, we will provide this to you alongside continuous development opportunities, for those that demonstrate commitment to us.
Professional Requirements
Good technical and communication skills
Must be figure oriented and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to prioritize and meet department targets
Must have basic computer knowledgeManual dexterity
Familiarity with luxury timepieces helpful
