We’re seeking a
seasoned Trusts & Estates Paralegal
to support a dynamic group of attorneys across multiple offices. This is a
full-time, onsite
opportunity in either
Charlotte or Winston‑Salem, NC , ideal for professionals who thrive in client-facing environments and are ready to make a long-term impact.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file federal and state tax documents (Forms 1041, 706, 709, and occasional 1040s)
Assist with trust and estate administration: document drafting, asset transfers, trust funding, and court filings
Conduct tax research and filings via CCH Tax Analyst
Support accounting tasks (experience with Quicken is a plus)
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a trusts & estates or tax-focused legal setting
Familiarity with fiduciary and estate tax forms (706, 709, 1041, 1040)
Experience with NetDocuments
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Professional and personable demeanor for direct client interaction
Competitive salary based on experience $70,000–$90,000
