Job Description We’re looking for a driven, high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple projects or events at once. This role is ideal for someone who is naturally organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing deadlines, details, and people.
The Events and Outreach Manager is responsible for coordinating internal team events, public-facing promotional events, and Foundation-led donor events. The role also supports donor engagement campaigns, manages outreach materials and mailing lists, and contributes to the overall success of Foundation outreach and fundraising. Comfort using AI tools to enhance work and bring efficiency to content development and planning is a valued part of this role.
Duties May Include But Are Not Limited To Event Management
Plan and coordinate employee engagement events such as appreciation picnics, milestone celebrations, and recognition activities
Organize and execute community-facing events such as health fairs, career fairs, and open houses
Lead logistics for Foundation events including annual galas, luncheons, and donor gatherings
Manage event timelines, vendor coordination, budgets, and on-site support
Coordinate CEO and CMCO participation for donor-facing and strategic events
Donor Engagement & Outreach Campaigns
Manage outreach campaigns including annual giving, recurring donor initiatives, and stewardship communications
Coordinate and execute email campaigns, newsletters, and mailings (e.g., postcards or event invites)
Prepare campaign calendars, draft content, and collaborate with marketing for final materials
Maintain mailing lists for campaigns and events in collaboration with internal teams
AI-Enhanced Support
Use generative AI tools to assist with drafting content, brainstorming event ideas, building repeatable processes, and streamlining routine tasks
Apply sound judgment to review, edit, and improve AI-generated content before using or publishing
Look for opportunities to apply AI to increase accuracy, reduce turnaround time, and support consistent communication

Experience: Minimum Required Experience: Experience in event planning, outreach coordination, and/or customer service.
Preferred Experience: Experience supporting nonprofit donor campaigns, events, or communications.
Education: Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (field of study may vary).

Additional Requirements: Physically able to assist with event setup and teardown, including lifting boxes and moving tables or displays as needed.
Able to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
