Job Overview
End User Account Provisioner – The Department of Corrections is seeking a qualified Wisconsin resident to assist with identity management, establish new users, and provide access authority for DOC platforms and applications. The role is 100% remote for Wisconsin residents and hybrid for other candidates who relocate to Madison, WI.
Responsibilities
Provisioning and de‑provisioning user accounts across DOC networks, resources, and applications.
Use PowerShell for automation and scripting of routine account tasks.
Apply security rules to grant or revoke application and server access, group folder, and other resources.
Coordinate with account management staff to provide timely responses to customer requests.
Maintain and document security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with DOC and enterprise security standards.
Participate in system/application integration planning, testing, and troubleshooting of access issues.
Provide guidance and training to users on security procedures and account management.
Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in account provisioning, de‑provisioning, and project maintenance in a large enterprise environment.
Strong experience with Directory Services (Active Directory), IAM tools, and two‑factor authentication (e.g., RSA SecureID, RACF).
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
Knowledge of security rule creation, permission management, and policy enforcement.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross‑agency collaboration.
Valid Wisconsin residence or willingness to relocate to Madison, WI before the role begins.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Monitoring, auditing, and analysis of security systems.
Experience advising management on the implementation and monitoring of security systems.
Ability to identify threats or security issues related to user access and new software deployments.
Audit experience on security access and risk mitigation recommendations to management.

Pay Range:
$30.00 – $35.00 per hour.
