Executive Director – Saint Simeon’s Foundation

Saint Simeon’s Foundation is seeking an accomplished and mission-driven Executive Director to lead its fundraising and development efforts in support of Saint Simeon’s Home, a not-for-profit 180-bed residential senior care community in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Home is affiliated with the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma and has a long tradition of providing compassionate, high-quality care for older adults.
The Foundation’s purpose is to provide financial support for Saint Simeon’s Home through a variety of initiatives, including planned giving development, annual giving campaigns, and Western Days – a major annual community fundraising event that raises close to $1 million each year.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Foundation Board, donors, and community partners to advance the Foundation’s mission.
Interact regularly with the Senior Leadership Team of Saint Simeon’s Home.
Oversee and execute the planning, coordination, and success of Western Days, the Foundation’s signature fundraising event.
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors and prospects.
Draft funding proposals and grant applications with a focus on 5-, 6-, and 7-figure gifts.
Provide leadership and direction to two support staff members.
Manage the Foundation’s assets of close to $5 million, currently under investment management by the Trust Company of Oklahoma and the Bank of Oklahoma.
Develop and manage an annual operating budget of close to $2 million.
Desired Qualifications
A self-starter with a demonstrated record of professional fundraising success.
Experienced in building relationships with Boards, donors, and community leaders.
Skilled in strategic planning, donor cultivation, and stewardship.
A collaborative leader who can inspire trust, motivate others, and achieve measurable outcomes.
Knowledgeable about senior living, residential care, or the healthcare sector.
Compensation Salary range :
$130,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience. An annual performance-based bonus is also included. This position is available due to the career advancement of the previous Executive Director, who recently became the head of a national foundation.
