Job Summary A Vice President (VP) of Supply Chain is a senior executive responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and financial performance of the company’s entire supply chain organization. Based in Loveland, CO, this role involves managing the end‑to‑end flow of goods, from sourcing components to delivering parts and finished goods to internal and external customers. This role ensures operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and resilience in the supply chain while supporting the company’s overall business goals. The VP of Supply Chain reports to the CEO and works closely with senior leadership to align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives, while fostering innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep experience in a relevant industry and a proven track record of managing end‑to‑end supply chains across multiple functions. This position will require relocation to Loveland, CO.
Essential Duties
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations to ensure high quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Lead planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations to optimize service levels and minimize costs.
Implement supply chain risk management practices to ensure continuity and resilience.
Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices in supply chain planning and execution.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, identify bottlenecks, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including sales, operations, engineering, accounting & finance, information technology, and product development to align supply chain strategies with company objectives.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing supply chain team with a focus on being action‑oriented, disciplined, accountable, passionate, and trustworthy.
Represent the company in vendor, customer, and partner interactions related to supply chain matters.
Cost Optimization: Work with internal teams and external partners to achieve supply chain objectives.
All other duties assigned.
Qualifications Education
4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field from an accredited university.
Preferred Education
Graduate Degree, Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field from an accredited university.
Experience
10+ years progressive supply chain experience across multiple functions (procurement, logistics, planning, systems).
5 years experience in senior leadership.
Any proven experience in procurement, logistics, and distribution at a strategic level.
Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Preferred Certifications
ASCM/APICS Certification.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
