About the Job:
We are seeking a highly creative, communicative, organized, and dedicated Head of Music to build on our 50+ year legacy of community, education, collaboration, artistic excellence, and innovation. The Head of Music manages the musical preparation of all mainstage productions and the execution of all musical activities.
Responsibilities
Lead the musical preparation of all mainstage productions, ensuring artistic and technical excellence.
Oversee all musical activities within the organization, coordinating resources and schedules.
Develop, implement, and monitor musical rehearsal schedules and production plans.
Collaborate with production staff, performers, and external partners to align musical objectives with overall production goals.
Qualifications
Vast knowledge of operatic repertoire and experience as a coach/conductor in the operatic field.
Excellent organizational skills and proven experience as a pianist/coach at the international level.
Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative abilities.
