Responsibilities
Performs and/or directs a group that sets up, operates, tears down, and troubleshoots all CNC and ASM machines and is responsible for the machines, tooling, and gaging assigned to the group.
Analyzes and plans workload, assigns, instructs, and trains operators in machine operations, follows up on instructions, and checks performance to maintain quality of parts produced.
Watches supply levels, orders supplies and tools when necessary.
Keeps currently informed on changing standards and specifications, maintains group records, and fills out necessary shop orders.
Works with engineering, production control, and programmers on trial processes and/or experimental tooling that must be proven before adapting to the CNC/ASM machines.
Refers trouble and problems to supervisor.
Embraces and engages in Honeywell Operating System, Safety & Behavioural Observation Process (BOP), 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Tiered Accountability Process, Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving (RPS), Built‑In Quality (BIQ), Coaching, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Knowledge Sharing.
Qualifications
4 years experience at level "A" with demonstrated productivity skills and ability.
Ability to support 4‑hour shift hours and work overtime as required.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
Pay & Shift Pay:
$38.26/hr, plus any applicable shift differential.
Shift:
4th Shift – Monday and Friday 10 pm – 6 am, Saturday and Sunday 10 pm – 10 am.
