Senior Accountant
Responsibilities
Senior Accountant will be responsible for AP - entering the invoices into AP system, then coding, then sending for approval. Once approved, will prepare for payment but another team member issues the payment (approx. 20-25 invoices / week)
Senior Accountant will be responsible for expense reports - Processing expenses through Nexonia. Senior Accountant will also help with expense reconciliation. (Previous Nexonia experience is not required. Training will be provided.)
Senior Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliations (mainly bank account reconciliations)
Senior Accountant will be responsible for timesheet review and then troubleshooting any issues on a weekly basis for US staff. On a monthly basis will review timesheets for global employees.
Senior Accountant will assist with ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business AND 3+ years of professional accounting experience OR Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business AND 5+ years of professional accounting experience
Previous nonprofit accounting experience is a plus for Senior Accountant role
Previous Sage Intacct experience is a plus. MUST have large ERP system experience.
Intermediate Excel skills : (basic formulas and sorting)
