Job Summary The Facility Security Officer (FSO) oversees the operations of classified facilities and ensures the implementation of operative security controls to protect both unclassified and classified national security information (NSI) as part of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The FSO manages a security program that aligns with corporate needs, mitigating risk across operational domains through a continuum of security administration standards and control strategies.

Responsibilities

Administer day‑to‑day industrial security operations and support corporate management.

Conduct security self‑inspections, apply risk‑mitigation methodologies, and support government customer assessments.

Develop, maintain, and update company policies and procedures per 32 CFR Part 117, DD 254s, and contract requirements.

Maintain facility clearance status in NISS and coordinate with the DCSA for required documentation.

Manage physical security of multiple local facilities in compliance with DCSA and ICD 705 requirements.

Assist with the Personnel Security program and administer security clearances/access processes for employees, subcontractors, and consultants.

Ensure proper execution and tracking of DD Form 254s and related documentation.

Update Millennium Space Systems Standard Practices and Procedures artifact as needed.

Serve as Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), leading the Insider Threat Team.

Provide security trainings and briefings to all cleared and uncleared personnel per 32 CFR Part 117.

Minimum Qualifications

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top‑Secret clearance with a pre‑start requirement.

8+ years of professional experience in similar industrial security roles supporting DoD or intelligence missions.

Professional experience conducting industrial security operations for DoD or IC.

Certified FSO experience.

Thorough knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, SEADs, and related directives.

Experience with DISS/NBIS, NISS, SWFT, eQIP/eAPP.

Knowledge of OPSEC procedures and handling of FOUO/CUI.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience with SIMS software.

Experience supporting special access programs for government agencies.

Professional experience as a CSSO or CPSO.

Experience interfacing with corporate and government leadership.

Pay Range

Level 4: $103,700 – $152,500

Level 5: $131,750 – $193,750
