HunaTek Government Solutions is seeking a
Network Engineer
to work on site in Washington, DC to provide engineering support of a VPN based network infrastructure supporting Unified Communications (UC) services, which include IP-based trunking, voice routing design and configuration and unified messaging.
Responsibilities
Provide support to engineering and customer support teams
Utilize network performance and monitoring tools to resolve issues and maintain a healthy network; troubleshoot and resolve network related connectivity issues
Provide assistance and perform general tasks for maintaining UC networks
Configure and update network routers, LAN switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points, and other related network devices/appliances
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wireless, firewall problems, network problems, along with other associated tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
CISCO certified network engineer with minimum five years extensive experience with CISCO network hardware and software products
Experience with SDWAN
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Network security experience
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust
