Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer – Commercial Construction
Location: Denver, CO / Thornton, CO
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Upwards of $95K (depending on experience) – bonus can range up to 20%

Position Summary: As a Commercial Construction Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting project managers and superintendents to ensure smooth project execution. You’ll help manage documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, all while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of construction projects
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily documentation
Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
Monitor project costs and prepare budget tracking reports
Support procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Conduct site visits and assist in progress reporting
Help maintain accurate project records and documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
1–3+ years of experience in commercial construction (internships included)
Familiarity with construction drawings, specs, and documentation
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus
