Senior Financial Analyst – GDIT, Falls Church, VA.
Position Summary As a Senior Financial Analyst at GDIT, you will support strategic planning and regulatory compliance by driving financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to ensure GDIT’s financial health and enable informed decision‑making.
Responsibilities
Prepare financial reports and analyze against budgets and financial metrics on a monthly basis.
Proactively monitor detailed budgets and communicate findings and trends with management.
Lead monthly budget owner meetings and collaborate to build forecasts aligned with financial targets.
Prepare adjusting entries to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations such as CAS, FAR, and DFARS.
Generate detailed labor reports to support key financial metrics.
Review and authorize selected spending requests for assigned budget areas.
Work with Oracle, Hyperion, and Minerva systems.
Communicate with senior‑level management and participate in special projects.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Arts/Science in business, finance, or accounting (preferred).
Experience:
5+ years of financial and budgetary experience, including 4+ years of related work.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in developing and managing budgets.
Strong understanding of key financial metrics and ratios.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Minerva financial analysis tools.
Skills & Abilities:
Effective written and verbal communication.
Strong analytical and critical thinking.
Ability to work independently, cross‑functionally, and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with government regulations (CAS, FAR, DFARS).
Experience with financial analysis software and tools.
Security Clearance:
None required.
Employment Details
Location:
Falls Church, VA (hybrid – 3+ days in office).
Schedule:
Full time, 40 hours per week.
Telecommuting:
Hybrid.
Travel:
None.
Salary Range:
$80,835 – $109,365.
