RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and coordinate sector financial reporting for accurate and timely submissions
Responsible for advanced tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business reviews to provide insight into business.
Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analyses for senior management.
Prepare financials for monthly close and forecasting process.
Monitor indirect expenditures against budget, identify issues and make recommendations for improvement
Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections.
Act as focal point for communication of financials.
Develop long‑range financial models in collaboration with the management team.
Risk identification and recovery responsibilities.
Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Provide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.
Manage revenue and cost adjustment submission, ensuring accuracy and review of proper back‑up information.
Collaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project management.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's Degree plus eight (8) years related industry experience
Strong forecasting skills with the ability to understand the impact of business decisions on P&L
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ability to analyze, interpret, and compile information from a variety of sources
Demonstrated strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, attention to detail and must be able to function independently, consistently meeting deadlines with little management guidance
Demonstrated understanding of FAR regulations with the ability to decide appropriate action for routine contractual and financial reporting based on interpretation of FAR.
Strong understanding of accounts receivable and collection cycles with the ability to exercise cash management techniques
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Position is hybrid. Must be willing to go into Falls Church office 3x a week.

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours. Travel required: Less than 10%. Telecommuting option: Hybrid. Work location: USA VA Falls Church.
