Job Summary The Regional VP End‑User Sales will manage sales profitability and market growth for a designated region, developing and driving strategic sales plans that support Miner’s overall sales vision. This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales.
Key Job Responsibilities
Build and manage a performance‑driven, customer‑focused sales team.
Provide daily direction, motivation, and coaching to ensure sales and profit objectives are met.
Achieve regional sales and profit targets.
Handle all employment decisions, including hiring, performance management, development, and progressive discipline.
Foster a customer‑centered workforce through partnership with sales and operations leaders.
Lead face‑to‑face customer interactions as needed.
Create solutions to sales challenges, facilitating cross‑functional support.
Advise on new construction sales strategies and national accounts.
Coordinate regional strategies with peers to ensure consistent best practices.
Communicate company vision, strategy, goals, and KPIs to the sales team.
Lead cross‑functional initiatives with the sales team when necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Key Performance Measurements
Scorecard reflecting new customer growth, sales revenue, gross profit, and account conversion.
Management observation of attitude, diligence, team contribution, and willingness to learn new skills.
Other metrics as prescribed by Miner Corp leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience in business development, sales, project management, and managing multiple direct reports.
Background in B2B service sales (highly preferred).
Experience in industrial/mechanical/warehouse sales (highly preferred).
Strong motivation and mentoring skills with outstanding interpersonal abilities.
Excellent negotiation skills with a record of favorable outcomes.
Strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.
Track record of developing and maintaining manufacturer and vendor relationships.
Recruiting and hiring expertise.
Successful leadership and associate development skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems.
Travel throughout the region (50%).
Valid driver’s license.
Successful criminal background check.
