Our client, a large not-for-profit healthcare organization, is seeking an Interim Director of M&A (Strategic Projects) to lead financial strategy and execution for divestiture-focused transactions.
This opportunity is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates located in Washington State who can attend in-office meetings once a week. This engagement has an expected duration of 1 year.
Responsibilities
Lead financial support for divestiture transactions from pre-LOI through close
Shape deal thesis, scope, and financial frameworks
Coordinate diligence, modeling, and integration/separation planning
Partner with shared services and finance leaders across workstreams
Lead meetings with cross-functional stakeholders, presenting director-level materials and driving clarity
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
8+ years in finance roles with exposure to M&A, healthcare, and consulting/project management
Proven track record of supporting divestitures and strategic transactions
Experience leading cross-functional teams and presenting to executive audiences
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; familiarity with SharePoint

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
