What You Will Get To Do:

Support the settlement process of primary loan syndications and secondary loan trades, including funding and documentation matters

Significant interaction with senior management, SS&C GlobeOp clients, their trading counterparties, agent banks, custodians, trustees and other SS&C GlobeOp departments relative to loan settlements

Investigate and resolve closing and transactional issues in a timely manner

Participate in the daily/weekly preparation and review of reports and metrics provided to clients and senior managers to highlight status of trades and risks

Train and mentor junior staff

What Will You Bring

Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline

2+ years managerial experience in operations or loan operations within the financial services or securities industry (prime broker, administrator or hedge fund)

Understanding of syndicated loans; including trade closings, LSTA market settlement conventions, credit agreements and their operational mechanics (fund flows, ticking fees, paydowns, drawdowns) and relationships with agent banks, trading counterparties, custodians and trustees

Knowledge of ClearPar, WSO, and Advent Geneva is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Solid client relationship management skills

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 60,000 USD to 100,000 USD.
