Senior Associate, Loan Operations

Responsibilities
Support the settlement process of primary loan syndications and secondary loan trades, including funding and documentation matters
Interact with senior management, SS&C GlobeOp clients, trading counterparties, agent banks, custodians, trustees, and other SS&C GlobeOp departments (fund accounting, operations, OTC operations, OTC pricing) regarding loan settlements
Investigate and resolve closing and transactional issues in a timely manner
Prepare and review daily/weekly reports and metrics for clients and senior managers to highlight trade status and risks
Train and mentor junior staff
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline
2+ years of managerial experience in operations or loan operations within the financial services/security industry (prime broker, administrator, or hedge fund)
Deep understanding of syndicated loans, including trade closings, LSTA market settlement conventions, credit agreements, and operational mechanics (fund flows, tick‑fees, paydowns, drawdowns, agent bank relationships)
Experience with ClearPar, WSO, and Advent Geneva is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Solid client relationship management skills
