Overview Warren Averett Executive Search is hiring for a Gulf Shores, AL, Accounting Manager with government contracting and accounting leadership experience. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Help ensure compliance with government regulations Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including job costing, project performance and revenue recognition Prepare and review monthly indirect rate calculations Support and coordinate with internal and external auditors, particularly DCAA and independent financial audits Manage specialized government submissions like Incurred Cost Submissions and Provisional Billing Rates Skills and experience Strong knowledge of government accounting principles and regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS, etc.). Experience with government accounting systems like Unanet or Deltek Costpoint a plus Must have strong understanding of government contracting and indirect rates Experience with DCAA and DCMA audits and inquiries would be a plus but not required Ability to manage staff and lead projects.
