Our affiliated practice OBGYN Associates of Central Florida is seeking a Full Time Nurse Pratitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) in Orlando, Florida. • Effectively identifies, evaluate and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care. • Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with the physician, other providers and practice manager, which allows for consultation, collaboration or referral. Works in a leadership role with the staff. • Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic and long-term healthcare issues. • Educated patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and the use of prescribed medical treatment and/or medication. • Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures. • Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician. • One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
