JOB OVERVIEW: The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a small team that will open and operate our new warehouse in El Paso, TX. This is a ground floor opportunity that will allow you to be involved from the very beginning in many more activities of running the day-to-day business than a typical warehouse job! In addition to the usual material handling and inventory management activities, this person will assign work orders to our subcontracted flooring installers, load material for customer orders onto the subcontractors' vehicles, process paperwork and perform data entry into our computer system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directing Employees: Overseeing and managing the workflow in the warehouse during the closing shift, ensuring that all required tasks are completed before the team leaves for the day. Physical Activities: Actively participating in various physical activities in the warehouse, including unloading trucks, preparing and staging materials for work orders, measuring, cutting, and labeling flooring products, and more. Inventory Management: Conducting inventory management activities such as cycle counts, physical inventory, and utilizing RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records. Forklift Operation: Utilizing forklifts for various warehouse tasks, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Material Handling: Loading subcontractor vehicles with materials and supplies for customer orders. Safety and Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Other Duties: Assisting with other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS:

Leadership Experience: 1+ years of prior leadership experience with direct reports or functional leadership experience. Warehouse Experience: 2+ years of experience in a warehouse setting, including inventory management, cycle counts, receiving, and related activities. Forklift Experience: 2+ years of forklift operation experience, not required but preferred. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and collaborate with team members. Detail-Oriented: A detail-oriented and organized approach to work, with strong follow-up skills. Adaptability: The ability to easily adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment. Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in using a calculator to perform basic math functions for measuring products. Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and carry products weighing 50 to 75 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
