Job Summary
The Equipment Readiness Operator is responsible for ensuring that equipment is prepared, maintained, and delivered on time to meet operational demands. This role focuses on improving the reliability, utilization, and efficiency of equipment assets while reducing the overall cost of service delivery. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and detail-oriented, with experience in logistics, maintenance support, and equipment readiness operations.
Job Description
Assist the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer in preparing equipment for field operations. Perform non-invasive maintenance related to the final preparation of surface and downhole equipment, as well as ready boxes. Execute assigned work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring compliance with standard procedures and data accuracy. Support documentation and organization of activities such as calibrations, inspections, function tests, material certifications, and third-party quality control when required. Prepare equipment and critical spare parts for shipment and staging at designated loading or operational sites. Receive and process returning equipment from field operations, ensuring proper inspection and documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and asset utilization. Safely unload incoming trucks and containers using a forklift. Inspect materials for visible damage, labeling, quantity, and packaging accuracy. Verify that shipping documents (bills of lading, packing slips) match received items. Stage materials in designated areas for quality assurance or inventory processing. Move approved goods to storage areas and update bin labels or tracking systems accordingly. Pick materials and equipment from storage based on shipping orders or pick lists. Stage and organize outbound goods on pallets, ensuring proper securing (e.g., shrink-wrapping) when necessary. Load outbound trucks safely and in accordance with weight and load distribution plans. Confirm that all shipping documents (bills of lading, shipping labels) are accurate and properly attached. Maintain accurate inventory counts during all material moves and updates in the system. Keep aisles, work areas, and yards free of obstructions and hazards. Report damages, shortages, or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors. Perform and document daily forklift inspections, including checks on brakes, hydraulics, forks, and battery. Consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including coveralls, helmet, and high-visibility vest. Adhere to all company safety policies, operational standards, and maintenance procedures. Promote a culture of safety awareness and report any unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately. S

2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, equipment handling, or maintenance support preferred. Proficiency with Office 365 and SAP systems. Experience with forklift operations (certification required). Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred. Strong communication skills (English required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred). Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
