Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk to join our Denver office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to BNP's continued growth and innovation while working with top professionals in the field.

Job Description
We are looking for an individual with considerable attention to detail who will contribute to our team, consisting of Project Accountants, the Controller, and the CFO. The Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk will be expected to work well on a team, but also autonomously, as the workload is divided among the team members with common goals.
The Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk will work closely with the entire finance team, but will also have direct contact with clients, partners, BNP senior leadership, and a vast number of colleagues on a domestic and international basis, which requires strong communication skills. The BNP Finance Team has recently switched over to the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system, where we are the key points of contact for the entire company and our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint, though this is not strictly required to apply.
The Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk will serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, partners, and BNP senior leadership, ensuring compliance with AR and AP based on our contractual agreements. They will coordinate with various team members to manage and perform project tasks, such as cost tracking and forecasting, historical reporting, invoicing, and project setup and closeout. Under the mentorship of their peers and leadership team, the Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the department and company while advancing their career.
Job Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in the lifecycle of projects from start to finish, ensuring successful implementation and execution, leading to client satisfaction. The position's key responsibilities include:
Serve as the primary internal liaison for a designated number of ongoing projects Coordinate with peers to manage cost tracking and analysis Compile invoices in Deltek and distribute them to clients promptly Track Accounts Receivable regularly and communicate with leadership based on client and project trends Manage Accounts Payable for timely payment to project subconsultants Collaborate with team members to manage scheduled tasks and adjust to urgent project requests Communicate with project managers and senior leadership to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition Work directly with the Controller and CFO to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Project setup and closure in Deltek Coordinate with the BNP Marketing Team for project-specific requirements and data reporting Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze project statuses Qualifications
Below is an outline of the minimum qualifications for this position.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related field Exceptional client rapport and communication skills Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills Experience managing workloads, timelines, and budgets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to read, interpret, and develop project reporting Ability to work in our Denver office. In addition to the above requirements, we are also looking for all or some of the following qualifications in the successful candidate. Business management, finance, or accounting background. However, applicants with related certifications, as well as candidates with other educational backgrounds, may be considered if they possess relevant knowledge or experience. Experience using Deltek as an ERP system, preferably Vantagepoint, compiling data and reporting packages. Education
Finance or accounting-focused associate's degree or higher, or similar experience Deltek experience is highly preferred but not required Working Conditions
The role will begin at approximately 25-30 hours per week, with the potential to transition to full-time depending on evolving business needs. This is a part-time position based in our Denver office. Salary
