Data Engineer

This role requires advanced expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Python to build scalable data pipelines and implement dimensional data models.
Rate Range:
$56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design and optimize complex SQL queries including joins, views, recursive logic, and performance tuning for large-scale data operations. Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and implement dimensional data models with Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type 1, 2, 3). Build streaming data applications using Spark and Kafka to support real-time data processing. Integrate and manage data workflows across cloud platforms like AWS and Snowflake, including Snowpipe and SnowSQL. Automate data pipelines and scheduling using Apache Airflow and Python scripting with libraries like Pandas and NumPy. Collaborate with business stakeholders and offshore teams to lead end-to-end data project delivery and provide scalable solutions. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based and streaming data solutions. Hands-on expertise in Snowflake, advanced SQL (including performance tuning), and dimensional data modeling with Slowly Changing Dimensions. Pay Details:
$56.00 to $58.00 per hour
