Lead Data Engineer

This role requires proven experience leading end-to-end data projects and collaborating with business stakeholders and offshore teams.
Rate Range:
$58/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Lead Data Engineer job responsibilities include:
Lead end-to-end data projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, and delivery in collaboration with business stakeholders and offshore teams. Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Spark streaming, and AWS computing services. Implement advanced dimensional data models, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type 1, 2, 3), to support analytics and reporting. Optimize SQL queries and data workflows across platforms like Vertica, Singlestore, and GBI Keystone. Automate data processing and transformation using Python and related libraries for performance and reliability. Ensure architectural integrity and performance tuning of cloud-based data solutions, including Snowflake and AWS integrations. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, with proven leadership in end-to-end project delivery. Expertise in Snowflake, advanced SQL, and dimensional data modeling including Slowly Changing Dimensions. Pay Details:
$58.00 to $60.00 per hour
