Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Med/Surg Float Pool
for an exciting job in
Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, toileting, and assisting with mobility. Obtain and accurately record vital signs and other patient data. Serve as a safety companion when needed to ensure continuous patient safety. Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control protocols. Respond promptly and compassionately to patient needs and requests. Communicate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and the interdisciplinary care team. Demonstrate understanding of age-specific and developmental patient needs. Support quality improvement and professional development initiatives. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards. Qualifications License:
Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Required Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of direct patient care - Required Preferred Experience: 2+ years providing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital Prior work as a safety companion
