Job Description
The Rehabilitation Nurse (RN/LPN) will provide compassionate care to patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. The nurse will support patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring specialized rehabilitative services. The role aims to maximize patients' health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities
Manage care for patients with acute rehabilitative needs. Monitor patient health, including blood glucose levels and medication protocols. Provide care related to feeding tubes, swallowing precautions, and foley catheters. Administer IVs and manage ports and PICC lines. Implement isolation precautions and wound care management. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) or Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF). BLS certification is required. Epic experience is mandatory. Previous travel experience as a nurse is preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
