JD Edwards Developer (EnterpriseOne / RPG / Orchestrator)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced

JD Edwards Developer

to support, enhance, and develop

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1)

applications and integrations. This role combines technical depth in

EnterpriseOne development tools

with strong hands-on experience in

RPG / AS400 (IBM i)

environments. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working on modern E1 orchestrations and maintaining legacy RPG programs that interface with JD Edwards or operate independently.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain

custom JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications , reports (UBEs), and business functions (BSFNs/NERs). Configure and optimize solutions using E1 toolsets:

FDA, RDA, TDA, OMW, Orchestrator, and AIS . Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in collaboration with CNC, functional, and business teams. Maintain and enhance

RPG-based programs

that integrate with E1 or support independent legacy systems. Support

data migration, report rewrites, and conversion

efforts from older systems into E1. Develop and maintain integrations between

JD Edwards and external systems

(EDI, APIs, flat files, DB2/SQL). Build and execute conversion programs for data loads during upgrades or implementations. Partner with business analysts and technical leads to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Create and maintain detailed

technical documentation, test plans, and deployment procedures . Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience & Skills

5+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development

(v9.1 or v9.2 preferred). Strong proficiency with

E1 development toolsets : FDA, RDA, TDA, OMW, UBEs, BSFNs/NERs, Orchestrator. RPG (RPG III/IV/ILE, CLP)

programming experience on

AS/400 / IBM i . SQL and DB2 development and debugging expertise. Familiarity with

AIS / REST API integrations

for E1. Exposure to scripting languages such as

Groovy, Ruby, or Python

is a plus. Understanding of

CNC concepts, E1 architecture, and Orchestrator workflows . Knowledge of core business processes such as

manufacturing, distribution, and financials . Core Competencies
