What You’ll Do You’ll own projects from due diligence through permitting and handoff. Including leading consultants, managing risk, and driving timelines to keep developments on track. Project Leadership & Communication Represent West77 Partners with professionalism in all external communications. Manage consultants, jurisdictions, and internal teams to keep projects on time and within budget. Identify and communicate risks related to site, entitlement, and permitting to leadership. Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to executives and investors. Technical & Analytical Oversight Manage due diligence, entitlement, and permitting schedules via Smartsheet and other tools. Track project budgets, timelines, and consultant invoices with accuracy and urgency. Review feasibility studies, STR/Kalibri data, title reports, and PSAs to evaluate project risk. Lead permit applications and approvals through municipalities and other authorities. Ownership & Execution Take full ownership of assigned projects from site control to handoff with construction. Develop milestone schedules, coordinate with consultants, and manage documentation. Deliver thorough development handoff reports and lender documentation for closings. Work closely with city officials and community stakeholders to advocate for project success.
What You Bring You’re a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, understands how cities and capital intersect, and enjoys seeing projects move from concept to construction. 5+ years of real estate development experience (hospitality, multifamily, or mixed-use preferred). Strong knowledge of land use, entitlements, and permitting processes. Proven ability to lead consultants and navigate municipal approvals. Skilled in Excel, Smartsheet, and project management tools. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
