Travel Job Title: X-Ray Technologist – Travel Assignment Location: Columbia, SC 29204 Start Date: November 24, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day – 5x8-Hour (Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week (facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks)
About the Role
A large health system is seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at its acute care hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and professionalism. First-time travelers are welcome. Minimal on-call and weekend coverage required on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures using c-arm and fluoroscopy equipment Ensure accurate imaging and patient positioning in accordance with physician orders Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards (radiation badge required; provided by agency) Document procedures using EPIC and Sectra PACS systems Collaborate with clinical teams to support timely diagnostic evaluations Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist BLS certification ARRT (R) certification South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license (SCQRSA) Preferred Skills Experience with c-arm and fluoroscopy equipment Strong attention to detail and patient care standards Effective communication and adaptability in clinical settings Additional Details No floating between units or sister facilities Scrub colors: black or teal Parking provided at no cost (pass distributed at badge pickup) Block scheduling requires manager approval Local candidates within 60 miles may be accepted at a reduced rate All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application Hurricane season (June–November) may require participation in emergency response teams Facility Overview
