Job Description American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) and SCQRSA certification, and BLS for a day shift assignment in an acute care hospital. Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital on the X-Ray unit Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Minimal on-call requirement and occasional weekend on-call rotation No floating between units or facilities required Charting systems used include Epic and Sectra PACS Experience with c-arm and fluoroscopy equipment is preferred Patient population consists of adults in an acute care setting Black or teal scrubs are required Parking pass provided at no cost for parking lots and garages All RTO must be declared at time of offer for approval Candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered at a local rate, subject to HR approval Previous staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Pre-start modules must be completed before beginning assignment Block schedule requests may be considered pending manager approval and unit needs During hurricane season (June–November), assignment to emergency response teams may be required Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent X-Ray Technologist experience required Current ARRT (R) certification and South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License (SCQRSA) required Current BLS certification required, AHA only Radiation badge must be provided by the agency License required if applicable Experience with Epic and Sectra PACS preferred Valid driver's license and SSN required for consideration Open to first-time travelers Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts
