Role We are seeking a passionate Project Coordinator to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in providing essential operational and administrative support to cross-functional teams within Global Program Management. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of program activities by coordinating meetings, tracking timelines, and maintaining documentation to support the successful delivery of development programs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will be joining the Endocrine Rare Disease Program Management team consisting of 5 colleagues, and report directly to Meng Lee, Head of ERD Program Management, who is based in Palo Alto, CA USA. You will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and logistical support Global Program Directors and Global Program Managers in the Program Core Teams.

Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation, presentation materials, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.

Support the preparation of materials for internal updates, including Program Reviews, Board of Directors materials, and regulatory submissions.

Contribute to process improvements and departmental initiatives, including development and training coordination.

Explore and support opportunities to integrate artificial intelligence tools and workflows into program and project management activities.

Qualifications and Skills You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a BA/BS or equivalent degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Business, or a related field – and 1-2 years of experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare setting.

Furthermore, you have:

Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Teams, MS CoPilot, Veeva Vault).

Key Competencies You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.

You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.

To succeed in this role, we also expect you to be able to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
