The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health, a non-profit organization, is seeking Hematologist Oncologists with a sub-specialty focus in Hematology to join our growing team of employed providers. Corewell Health’s Cancer Center is a collaboration of Corewell Health’s network of hospitals, Corewell Health West Michigan and community providers. Our patients and their families benefit from innovative, cutting-edge treatments and state-of-the-art programs and services. We specialize in treating the most complex types of cancers and each treatment plan is as unique as the patient who receives it. Based out of Grand Rapids, with the opportunity to expand your practice across Corewell Health West Michigan, we invite you to explore the most comprehensive and robust cancer program in West Michigan. This includes more than 150 highly qualified, board-certified physicians representing more than 17 oncology specialties. Enjoy working with robust multispecialty teams and tumor boards with integrated staff. Corewell Health also has a comprehensive radiology program with port placement. Corewell Health’s Cancer Program Offers FACT Accredited BMT program inclusive of CAR T-Cell Therapy Multispecialty Teams Screening & Prevention Diagnostic & Treatment Services & Clinical Trials 11 Comprehensive Programs Specialized Radiation Oncologists Breast Diagnostic Center Nurse Navigation, Cancer Rehab, Palliative Care and Integrative Medicine Corewell Health is currently working toward NCI designation Corewell Health is scheduled to launch a Hematology Oncology fellowship training program in 2025/2026 Qualifications Required Doctorate LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required Physician candidates must be board eligible/board certified in Hematology. Experience with clinical trials is a plus. Academic appointment at Michigan State University available commensurate with experience.
