MRI/CT Scan Technologist

Salary Range: USD $70,000 – $100,000 per annum + Bonus – Depending on experience

Location: United States – On Site - Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time/Contract

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused

MRI/CT Scan Technologist

to join our imaging team. In this role, you will perform MRI and CT procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI and CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process clearly and addressing any questions or concerns. Position patients and operate MRI/CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Administer contrast agents as required, monitoring patients for potential adverse reactions. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including MRI safety zones and radiation protection protocols. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to evaluate images for accuracy and diagnostic quality. Maintain accurate records in PACS/RIS systems and comply with HIPAA regulations. Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions or issues promptly. Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.

Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and advanced certification in MRI and/or CT required. Current state licensure as required by applicable regulations. Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in MRI and/or CT imaging. Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and radiation safety. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Proficiency with PACS/RIS and electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Skills: Experience in advanced MRI/CT applications (cardiac, functional, or contrast studies). Cross-training in other modalities (X-ray, Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine). BLS or ACLS certification.
