Key Responsibilities

We're seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in both Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care. Our preference is for one technologist to perform both CT and MRI. We will consider multiple technologists if necessary. Operate CT and MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images according to physician orders Review images for technical quality and optimize scan parameters as needed Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably, explaining procedures and answering questions Administer contrast media (oral, IV) per protocol, monitoring for adverse reactions Maintain accurate imaging records and document patient history, scan details, and quality checks Adhere to radiation safety and MRI safety protocols, including screening patients for contraindications Perform routine equipment QC checks, report malfunctions, and assist with maintenance Collaborate with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic requirements Assist in training and mentoring new staff or students, as needed Uphold patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and departmental policies Required Qualifications

Accredited radiologic technologist program graduate ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography Advanced certification or documented experience in CT and MRI modalities Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (as required by California) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience in both CT and MRI in a hospital or outpatient setting We prefer one person with both CT and MRI experience, but will consider multiple people if necessary Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems (e.g., GE, Philips, Siemens platforms) Experience with dose-reduction techniques and MRI safety officer protocols Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Full-time position if you perform both CT and MRI Part-time position if you perform only CT or MRI Hours M-F only 8 AM - 4:30 PM No after hours, weekends, or on-call coverage required This is NOT a traveling technologist position Must be able to lift, position, and assist patients up to 50 lbs Standing and walking for extended periods during scan sessions Exposure to radiation (controlled environment) and strong magnetic fields
