Brilliant® is hiring: Accounting Manager in Town of Florida

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and oversee a very small team of accounting professionals in a multi‑entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, supervising a team of three staff accountants.
• Oversee and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month‑end close activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Analyze and explain monthly and quarterly financial results to management.
• Partner with operations and real estate teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage cash flow reporting, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance & Multi‑Entity are Required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Public accounting audit experience with a regional or national firm preferred; corporate accounting experience required if not.
• Real estate, construction accounting experience is a big plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and month‑end close processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary Range: 115K-125K
