You will have the chance to oversee core accounting functions, collaborate closely with leadership, and drive improvements using your deep knowledge of accounting standards and ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day accounting operations and manage two direct reports (Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable).
• Perform monthly account analysis and maintain key general ledger accounts accurately.
• Reconcile accounts for AR, AP, Fixed Assets (using Deacom ERP and Asset Tiger), and multiple bank accounts monthly.
• Maintain and ensure accurate inventory valuation and related accounting entries.
• Handle weekly payroll journal entries in collaboration with HR.
• Prepare, review, and clarify monthly financial results, including analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Meet all parent company financial deadlines including monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with US GAAP; assist the CFO on audit and year-end processes.
• Prepare annual budgets and file sales/use tax returns for required states.
• Reconcile related party transactions/balances with sister companies, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of hands‑on accounting experience including monthly close processes per US GAAP.
• Proficient with ERP systems (ideally Deacom) and skilled in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management.
• Proven ability to prepare budgets and perform financial analysis.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• CPA certification.
• Experience in the chemical or manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Demonstrated ability to summarize complex accounting situations for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
