Responsibilities
Contribute to regulatory projects for Infiltrator Water Technologies’ wastewater product lines as a key member of the Government Affairs Team.
Conduct regulatory research and analyze regulations and potential changes to industry requirements.
Prepare letters, reports, and literature pertaining to technical and regulatory issues.
Support customer and sales team technical inquiries.
Interface with regulatory agencies to gain product approvals.
Participate in launching new products, including research and development on product designs.
Develop strategies for completing projects and aligning deliverables with company goals.
Deliver technical presentations in small group settings and at trade shows.
Collaborate with and manage outside technical consultants.
Preferred Skills And Experience
Entry level to 5+ years of experience in an engineering or technical field (consulting engineering industry experience a plus).
Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering or related field; advanced degree a plus.
Professional engineer, engineer-in-training, registered sanitarian, or registered environmental health specialist, or other relevant credentials.
Involvement with wastewater treatment systems, particularly onsite and/or decentralized systems.
Excellent verbal communication in both individual and group settings.
Excellent technical writing skills with proficiency developing well-written, well-organized documents.
Independent problem solving and ability to quickly distill written information.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a changing, dynamic office environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
