We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Engineering Quality Control Specialist to oversee the quality control of engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and budget requirements. This role involves deep expertise in engineering aspects related to floor plans, billing of materials, submittals, and more, to deliver a comprehensive engineering package.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure quality control across all engineering activities, including floor plans, material details, and submittals.
Provide support to Project Managers by verifying designs and engineering work, developing project design documentation based on proposals, sales data, and client meetings, and processing change orders when required.
Maintain and update all relevant project documentation, including AV plans, wire schedules, dimension lists, schematics, electrical specs, and diagrams.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of project documents to internal teams, including wiring designs, layouts, and programming details.
Collaborate with field personnel to conduct site verifications and gather data for purchase orders.
Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders regarding technical updates, CRM data, and lead times for materials.
Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends that may influence system designs.
Attend client consultation meetings as necessary to provide technical support.
This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. If you are driven to maintain high standards and contribute to successful project outcomes, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential electronic systems design and field installation.
Strong knowledge of device configuration, automated systems, and ability to interpret technical schematics.
Proficient in conceptualizing technical setups and ensuring functional design pre-installation.
Understanding of rack elevations with the ability to build both virtually and physically.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and calculation skills.
Advanced proficiency in D-Tools, Visio, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with iPoint or other CRM systems.
Qualifications
CDTS, CEDIA, and/or Crestron Certification(s).
Skills
