Overview
Lead Electrical Engineer role focusing on vertical integration of design and production of military-grade, commercial-off-the-shelf components at consumer volume and cost. The client is expanding into a new facility and seeks a technically hands-on engineer to design and lay out PCB boards, with strong knowledge of microcontrollers and hardware integration.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and prototype hardware and software components for electrical products.
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure integrated solutions.
Develop embedded systems using microcontrollers, FPGAs, and custom circuits.
Perform circuit simulation, PCB layout, and system integration.
Write and debug application and firmware code for embedded devices.
Conduct feasibility studies and participate in product architecture decisions.
Test, validate, and troubleshoot hardware and software designs.
Research emerging technologies and integrate best practices into product development.
Document design processes, specifications, and revisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical/electronic product design and embedded systems.
Proficient in circuit design, PCB layout (Altium, Eagle, etc.), and embedded programming (C/C++, Python).
Experience with microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR, etc.) and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
