Evolve, lead, and drive world class performance of Waymo’s global B2B partner support model, including support for Driven By Waymo fleet operator companies and partner-led car validation testing of new hardware platforms and software builds. Build out the support model, design the strategy, align KPIs, and relentlessly execute with vendors and internal teams to exceed KPIs, analyze metric performance misses, develop process fixes, leverage internal and 3P technical solutions, influence tool roadmap fixes, and drive metric success. This role combines strategic design with daily hands-on operations. Innovate and evolve the program so the support model scales with Waymo and the partner network, integrating new partner business models. This includes collaborating with the partner management team and partners to understand workflows and pain points, onsite travel domestically and internationally to learn operations, and planning for future growth. Bring experience with tooling solutions to optimize support. Define and execute the cadence of communications on program health with key stakeholders. Build polished decks and communications for executive audiences, elevate daily work for internal and external consumption, and design standard operating procedures to drive operational excellence. Act as an accountable owner for the program’s operational outcomes, owning strategy and execution for Waymo partners and internal stakeholders. You Have
5-8 years of experience in B2B/enterprise-level customer/partner support as a vendor manager or program manager, preferably in transportation and/or autonomous vehicle space. Proven track record of implementing improvements in a complex program, as an individual contributor, team member, or supervisor. Demonstrated ability to influence external partners and cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Product, Operations) to achieve strategic goals. Project management expertise with demonstrable impact on past projects and programs. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. We Prefer
A master’s degree in a relevant technical or business field. Experience in leading B2B support in a high growth company. Experience directly improving an operation. Certification or deep experience in operational methodologies such as ITIL, and/or project management certification such as PMP. The expected base salary range for this full-time position varies by location and experience. Your recruiter can share the specific salary range for the role location or remote work during the hiring process. Waymo employees are eligible for discretionary annual bonuses, equity incentives, and benefits subject to eligibility. Salary Range $190,000—$241,000 USD
