Oracle HCM Payroll Functional Consultant
Overview
Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Payroll Cloud Senior Functional Consultant with strong leadership skills. The consultant will interact with process consultants and business SMEs to understand and analyze processes, translate business requirements to solution design, communicate complex designs to stakeholders, and work in an on-shore/off-shore model with development and support teams across continents, managing delivery and driving automation opportunities.
Responsibilities
Translate business requirements to solution design and seek approvals.
Collaborate with development and support teams in on-shore/off-shore delivery across continents, managing delivery and opportunities for automation.
Maintain employee payroll data, administer garnishments, and ensure data integrity of the system.
Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide timely resolutions.
Load external deductions and payroll data conversions in HCM Payroll Cloud.
Apply payroll tax updates and conduct payroll testing after each upgrade.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson TX, Raleigh NC, Hartford CT, Phoenix AZ or Indianapolis IN or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
7+ years of Information Technology experience.
Must have completed 2–3 Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
Techno-functional or functional resource with an HCM domain background.
Responsible for maintaining employee payroll data, garnishments, and ensuring data integrity.
Able to troubleshoot payroll issues and provide resolutions.
Loading external deductions and payroll data conversions in HCM Payroll Cloud.
Expertise in payroll cloud tax updates activities and payroll testing after upgrades.

Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in North American payroll functional business processes and regulatory requirements in the US.
Responsible for executing post-payroll processes and ensuring the accuracy of files transmitted post-payroll to various vendors.
Ability to interact with payroll business stakeholders and effectively communicate status to management; issue and risk management.
Adherence to confidentiality requirements and problem-solving skills for issues arising in Oracle HCM Cloud.
Hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring to team members, and willingness to work in a global delivery model.
The job may entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, and in person.
