Perform a variety of complex accounting and reporting activities, with a focus on credit card and merchant services. Provide leadership in the development, design, implementation and ongoing management of assigned financial analysis processes; monitor activities for compliance with corporate and accounting policies and standards. Complete and/or review and interpret complex financial analyses of financial ratios and trends. Assist with accurate and timely compilation and submission of accounting-related reports and filings for assigned area in accordance with GAAP, management and regulatory requirements. Maintain internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with the SOX framework and internal policies and standards. Assist in properly classifying complex accounting transactions and in identifying and explaining general ledger account variances. Prepare, or review and approve, journal entries and monitor account activity to ensure accurate recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP and internal policies. Ensure that supporting documentation is maintained and that reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts are prepared in accordance with corporate policies. Research and resolve items as necessary and ensure adequate supporting documentation is maintained. Design, implement and document complex accounting and reporting process workflows and controls for assigned accounts and subsidiary systems, including reconcilement and monitoring processes. Implement control refinements as products, processes, GAAP, regulatory reporting requirements or policies change. Design, prepare or review and interpret reports related to financial performance, internal control compliance, budget or forecast variances for assigned areas. Maintain knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements applicable to the area of responsibility; maintain or update accounting policies or standards as needed. Review and update policies and procedures for compliance with governmental regulations and corporate standards; develop new accounting processes and procedures as needed. Assist in reviewing assumptions and calculations in significant financial models for consistency with GAAP and policies; ensure changes are tested and implemented accordingly. Coordinate responses to auditor/examination requests and regulatory inquiries in collaboration with Accounting Policy; ensure timely remediation of issues identified. Monitor filing requirements and deadlines and ensure timely submission of necessary schedules, reports or filings. Collaborate with business operations, data center and IT support to ensure complete and accurate data capture for management and regulatory reporting. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent education and related training. Seven years of relevant accounting experience. Three years of supervisory experience. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities; demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, with emphasis on spreadsheets, word processing and databases). Strong foundation in GAAP concepts. Preferred Qualifications

Professional designation as CPA or CMA; Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration. Public accounting or regulatory experience relevant to the area of responsibility. Seven years of financial services accounting experience. Benefits
