automotive industry , recognized as one of the largest worldwide. They are undergoing a
major digital transformation , with business and senior leadership placing a strong emphasis on modernizing technology and operational efficiency. As part of this evolution, the PMO is playing a critical role in
intake management, prioritization, and governance
to ensure strategic alignment and delivery excellence. We are seeking an experienced
Program Manager
with a strong background in
software development, integration initiatives, and PMO governance . This individual will partner with technology and business leaders to drive
structured intake processes ,
prioritize enterprise initiatives , and
advance delivery maturity
across the portfolio. Responsibilities Lead the intake and prioritization process
for technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, capacity constraints, and organizational priorities. Establish and maintain
governance frameworks
that provide visibility, accountability, and consistency across the software project portfolio. Develop and manage
program roadmaps , tracking dependencies and ensuring proper sequencing of initiatives to maximize value delivery. Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to refine
evaluation criteria
for new project requests, ensuring clear business cases, ROI justification, and resourcing feasibility. Facilitate
portfolio review sessions
with senior leadership to drive informed decision-making around priorities, trade-offs, and risk mitigation. Oversee execution of approved projects, ensuring adherence to governance standards,
Agile delivery practices , and defined success metrics. Champion the evolution of
PMO maturity , implementing tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms to enhance predictability and transparency. Drive continuous improvement in
project intake, tracking, and delivery processes , focusing on efficiency, accountability, and stakeholder satisfaction. Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and technology leaders, providing
data-driven insights
into project health, portfolio performance, and capacity utilization. Lead change management and communication efforts to promote adoption of governance processes, tools, and best practices across global teams. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in
program or project management
within technology, software engineering, or digital transformation environments. Proven success in
governance, intake management, and prioritization frameworks
within a PMO or enterprise-level organization. Deep understanding of
SDLC , Agile delivery models, and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud). Proficiency in
JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project , and portfolio management tools. Strong background in
stakeholder management , with experience communicating across executive and technical audiences. PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification highly desirable.
