The role you'll contribute: The Nurse Manager is a specialized health care professional who adheres to the goals, philosophy, standards, and guidelines of the health care organization. Reporting to the department Director, this role collaborates with the Director and other leaders to provide leadership to the unit(s) assigned by coordinating the care and services of selected patient populations across the continuum of illness. The Nurse Manager promotes effective utilization of health care resources, monitors these resources, and assumes a leadership role with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. The value you'll bring to the team: Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence-based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes. Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery. Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient-centered care. Demonstrates professionalism, supports ongoing education and development, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies. Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient focused care. Educates and mentors staff, ensuring adherence to clinical practice models and evidence-based practices.
