Overview
Andy’s Frozen Custard is seeking a General Manager who will take ownership of the store, oversee day-to-day operations, set growth goals, and design strategies to achieve those goals. The GM leads the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintains high standards of custard quality.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day store operations and foster a results-driven environment
Set goals for growth and design a strategy to achieve them
Build and lead the store team to success and maintain a positive, professional environment
Ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality custard is served to standard
Lead by example, coach and provide feedback to team members
Manage store staffing levels, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training oversight
Communicate with the store and respond to emails and phone inquiries in a timely manner
Maintain composure during peak periods and unusual events to keep operations running smoothly
Uphold Andy’s policies and procedures and promote the company culture, values, and mission
Hands-on leadership across shifts and roles, including serving guests and supporting staff
Ensure a friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic work environment and uphold high operation standards
Support team growth through coaching and development opportunities
Qualifications
3–5 years of proven management experience in the food service industry or a related leadership role
Strong leadership with the ability to mentor and promote from within
Good communication skills and ability to manage staffing, onboarding, and training
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Full-time availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
